Welcome to Manayunkia Homestay

We are delighted to host you at our serene home nestled in the foothills of Nelliyampathy. To ensure a pleasant and peaceful stay for all our guests, we kindly ask you to follow these house rules.

1. Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: Between 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Check-out: By 11:00 AM, the next day
• Early check-in or late check-out may be available with prior notice, subject to availability.

2. Guest Registration & ID

• All guests must present valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, etc.)
• Only the guests registered at the time of booking are allowed to stay. Kindly inform us in advance if you expect any visitors.

3. Peaceful & Respectful Conduct

• We strive to maintain a calm and family-friendly atmosphere.
• Loud music, shouting, or disruptive behavior is discouraged at any time.
• Please be respectful to fellow guests, staff, and neighbours.

4. Smoking, Alcohol & Substances

• Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
• Alcohol may be consumed responsibly in your private space and not in balcony or terrace, which is against Abkari rules of Kerala.
• Drugs or illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises.
• Guests causing disturbances due to intoxication may be asked to vacate without refund.

5. Cleanliness & Sustainability

• Help us keep the property clean and green by using the dustbins and avoiding littering.
• Please turn off fans, lights, and AC when leaving the room.
• Water is precious — please use it responsibly.

6. Keys & Security

• Please return your room key to the reception when going out.
• Lost keys may incur a replacement fee.

7. Payment Policy

• We accept payments via Cash, Google Pay, PhonePe, and Bank Transfer.
• Full payment must be made before or at the time of check-in.
• Accommodation will be denied if payment or valid ID is not provided.

8. Pets

• We love animals, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed to ensure the comfort of all guests.

9. Child Policy

• Children of all ages are welcome at Manayunkia Homestay.
• Children below 6 years stay free when using existing bedding.
• Children 6–11 years will be charged 50% of the extra person cost, sharing on parents’ bed.
• Children 12 years and above are considered adults and pay the full adult rate for accommodation with or without extra bed.
• Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring children are supervised at all times for their safety and the comfort of other guests.

10. Photography & Privacy

• You are welcome to take photos of the homestay and its surroundings.
• Please avoid photographing other guests or staff without their consent.

11. Safety and Responsibility

• Guests are expected to behave in a manner that ensures safety and comfort for everyone.
• Any guest found causing harm, threatening safety, or damaging property will be held responsible and may be asked to leave immediately.
• Any damage caused by guests to rooms, furniture, or the property will be charged accordingly.

12. Booking & Cancellation Policy

• Advance Booking: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of full or 50% advance payment.
• Cancellation:
  ○ More than 7 days before check-in: Full refund of advance payment.
  ○ Between 7 days and 48 hours before check-in: 50% of the advance will be refunded.
  ○ Within 48 hours of check-in or no-show: No refund will be provided.
• All cancellations must be made via phone. Rescheduling requests will be considered based on availability.
